20 rupees charge for online ticket .. !!!

20 rupees per train ticket or 20 rupees per passenger online charge. There is no end to the grievances. Let's see how it was determined and why it is not possible to reduce it at the moment.

Prior to the launch of Rail Online Ticket, BTRC sought its opinion on the charge (as far as I can remember).

Based on that opinion, an agreement was reached between the parties to fix 20 rupees per passenger. The parties here are payment gateways, such as Visa or Credit Card and Mobile Banking, Government Revenue Department or NBR and the latest online service provider (formerly CNS is now easy).

That agreement is still in force and as long as it is in force, the railways do not have the capacity to charge less than 20 taka.

But yes, in order to reduce it, a new agreement has to be made between the parties. Which is not possible in this country. No one will agree anymore.

Payment gateway takes about half of 20 rupees. About half of the remaining half is government revenue, the rest is service providers, before CNS would now take “easy”.

I hope I have understood everyone. If there are four people in one ticket, why not 20 rupees, why 80 rupees. That agreement is also the answer.

Stay well everyone.

Which way is Bangladesh Rail ..?

It is surprising to think that such a large state organization like Railways has no IT department of its own! In the age of digital information technology, it is not understandable why the railways are being held back like this!

The service vendor of ticketing is changing, and the railways have had to go back to the manual ticketing system of the blind period! Very surprising!

The most surprising thing is that the new company Sahaj Sonisis Vinsen JV has been asked to get ready to start ticketing by canceling all the services of CNS! Hey, why would that be?

Since CNS is not handing over their servers, apps or data to Easy or Rail, the point should be that while the CNS service is running, the new company will complete all the preparations and launch their service on the specified date. There would be no more harassment of passengers and trains.

For the most part, the railways cannot avoid the responsibility of what is happening to all the passengers, including the majority of those who are accustomed to travel online.

The short-sightedness of the railways is the result of the railways having to print paper tickets at the cost of millions of rupees for these 5 days and at one stage many tickets will be left over.

Yesterday I also saw that a project has been taken to procure new coaches at a cost of hundreds of crores of rupees. But no thought, no project is taken to create a central IT department by modernizing the railways!

Railways and passenger information will be in the central database system of the railways.

Let's create our own IT department. Build your own server and database which will be linked to NID server. Only then will the railways be digital and up-to-date. And this will be the measure of the main and strong infrastructure of railway development.
